Tide x Parsons x CFDA Dinner

We had the most magical dinner kicking off New York Fashion Week! We met up with Parsons' design students who have been working feverishly together to create sustainable, washable clothing and making sure that they can stand the test of time. Not only were the students a pleasure to chat with, their garments were stunning and embodied an energy of life!

Tide partnered with Parsons School of Design. Students learned how to design for care. We chatted about how these new amazing designers are taking a leap and designing for the future because dry cleaning and chemicals are so bad for the environment. By treating your clothes at home, you can clean them how you want them with Tide Pods Free and Gentle and Downy Fabric Conditioner. The specially designed coursework combined the design expertise of the Parsons Faculty and Proctor and Gamble scientists to help students think of new ways to make their future collections with care in mind.

What's so cool is that the students designs are Surprisingly Washable! Fabrics that we didn't think could be washed...CAN! They found and tested them over and over again. It really proves that it's all about preserving the clothes we love! Tide and Downy's technology can go beyond clean and go right down to the fiber level. It was such a wonderful night celebrating and chatting together with designer Nicole Miller, Steven Kolb CEO at CFDA, and Burak Cakmak Dean at Parsons
