Halloween Time

Halloween is our fav' holiday of all time, hands down! This year we dressed up as "Infected Medusa Nurses" and Chloe as a "Bring it On Cheerleeder Zombie" complete with a posse! Our dogs even dressed up and Cubby went as "Cubby ate Cher" and Marni went as "Minnie Marnie Mouse". We even carved a Ghostbusters pumpkin. We wanted to wish everyone a Spooktacular evening! BOOOOOO!

Our New York Trip for the Maison Martin Margiela with H&M Launch!

We had the most unreal trip going to New York and experiencing the launch event. We met up with the Maison Martin Margiela team for a private viewing of the collaboration. They were wearing chic lab coats and telling us about the construction of each piece and the inspiration behind it. It was thrilling trying on the collection that we have been coveting for sooo long! We then met with Margareta Van Den Bosch, the Creative Advisor of H&M. She is soo sweet and inspiring! She explained how they wanted to do a Re-Edition of the iconic Maison Martin Margiela pieces for H&M. We got asked to host the red carpet which was going to be live streamed for the H&M facebook page during the launch event! We were sooo excited! To get ready for it, we met with the H&M Sweden team and went over to 5 Beekman where the party was being set up. We got to see the building that had been abandoned for 30 years in the daylight (behind the scenes) and got to see the production of how the building was being assembled for the event. The brilliant Etienne Russo turned the old building into a chic, deconstructed Art masterpiece! It was filled with Art, interpretive dance and lights. As the night came into full swing, we were on the red carpet interviewing Renzo Rosso, Mena Suvari, artist Daniel Arsham, Etienne Russo, model Hanne Gaby Odiele and Kanye West. Over 2000 people attended and it was nine floors of party rocking! It was a night to remember. Everyone snapped up some amazing pieces from the collection! Maison Martin Margiela with H&M Launch Event video

We had the best time in New York with the H&M and the Maison Martin Margiela team. The launch event was unreal! We are going to be posting next week about it. Here is a video of what went down that night, and how special it was! Silver confetti fell from the sky and the dancers made gorgeous patterns in white sand as the guitar played on.

Maison Martin Margiela x H&M Collaboration

We are so excited for our New York trip next week with H&M to unveil the new Maison Martin Margiela x H&M Collaboration! We have been big fans of Margiela for years and even have one their first pieces from their 1989 collections, that we got when we were 13 years old! And we couldn't possibly be bigger H&M fans! The collabs are always to die for! We put some of our fav' images of the new collaboration below, along with some of our Instagram pics. We are totally obsessed with the silver candy clutches, the fold over denim pants, the bodysuit, leather guitar knapsack, and glove bag...OMG!!!
