Fun Fact: Wearing sweater jackets in the winter is the beeeesssst! Anytime the weather is not -26 celcius below and above 3 degrees... it's totally sweater weather in Toronto! And this one is Junko Koshino one is my favorite! I found it in a vintage store in NY in the lower east side that isn't around anymore, but love how 80's it is! Get the Look:

Fun Fact: I never usually write about how cold it is, but it's too hard not too..it's CRAZZZZZY COLD in Toronto (-14 Celsius equivalent to 7 Fahrenheit) BRRRRR! We have broken a lot of cameras from the cold weather, so we have a rule that we don't take it out in -15 Celsius weather, so we took our chances at -14 Celsius! HAHA) So staying warm is key in a cozy jacket and layering. I just got this gorgeous limited edition sweatshirt from Chanel as a holiday present and I love how Karl hand painted it with the logo! It's sooo special and keeping me warm! Thanks Chanel!

Recipe: How to make Vegan Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

We are crazy for these vegan banana chocolate chip muffins! And make them every week to snack on. They are soooo delicious and healthy and we put them in the mini muffin tins and try not to eat too many of them! LOL! But we wanted to share this recipe because they are so easy to make and they are toooo good to be true. Here is how to make them. We found them online last year and are addicted. The recipe is by: Colleen Patrick- Goudreau.

First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grab two big bowls.

First bowl: (Mix in)- THE DRY BOWL
2 cups of spelt flour or unbleached all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoons of salt
(mix all together)

2nd bowl: (Mix in)- THE WET BOWL
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup canola oil
4 ripe mashed bananas- (mash the bananas with a fork on a separate plate before putting them in)
1/4 water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup of semisweet chips
(mix all together)

Mix the wet bow into the dry bowl and mix it really good! Spay muffin tins with PAM and spoon in the batter in to the muffin tins. Fill each muffin tin halfway with the batter. Bake for 20-30 minutes until they are golden brown. I usually keep them in for 20 minutes. But make sure they look golden. They usually make 9-10 muffins. (Or 12-14 mini muffins) Wait 15 minutes for them to cool down before serving. I usually don't put any paper cups in with the muffins because it sticks to the muffins. Pin It Now!

Fun Fact: It's been sooo cold here in Toronto, that being super comfortable under your winter jacket is key. I am obsessed with Happiness Brand sweats! We have been living in them non-stop. They are super cozy and I love how they did a modern and funky take on the sweatsuit. They rocked it out with this matchy matchy print. It has a twist on pajama chic and hip hop. Bernhard did an epic collab with Camper and these Himalayan shoes are so perfect with this weather and with this sweatsuit.

Fun Fact: Well in Toronto right now we are in a deep freeze. It's been -25 degrees Celsius and dropping! And underneath all of this snow is...drumroll please... ice! (I have already fallen and have a huge bruise on my leg!) I slid down a hill doing a snow angel.. LOL! Anyways, the only thing that makes me smile in the winter is pulling out an old Beckerman trick, and that is layering faux fur things! I'm also obsessed with my new studded boots from Modern Vice. I love how studded they are, and I can't get enough of them. Cubby's is also staying warm in his bumblebee sweater. I picked it up in L.A at D.O.G pet boutique, it's the cutest store!
