New York Fashion Week- Day 1

Woah... Day One has officially started! And we had the bessst time running around, seeing shows, getting inspired and hanging with our awesome friends! First we started at BCBG! The dresses were beautiful and flowy and we loved all the micro mini flower print vests and obi inspired belts. Then we headed downtown to see Coach's presentation... Can we say that Stuart Vevers, has once again blown our minds! He made pastel faux fur coats and paired them with lamb sweaters and patent leather skirts! We screamed out loud with excitement! Next we went to our fellow Canadian and long time friend Jay Godfrey's presentation who rocked it out with fringe jackets, beaded dresses, and topped it off with cowboy hats! It was a great way to kick off fashion week! We are working with our friend Steven Lee, who is a phenomenal photographer and has a blog called Silhouetted Skyline. He will be taking all our street style photos over the next week! So stay tuned!

Fun Fact: Today I went super girly and put on my favourite StyleStalker dress! I grunged it up with a vintage plaid shirt and paired it with my Ivy Kirzhner shoes (which I'm obsessed with) and  my anarchy street jewels!

Fun Fact: Buddhist Punk clothing is from London/LA/Bali and their clothes rock our world! I can't get over how the whole sweatsuit is embroidered and its' sooo badass. Our good friend Shea just collaborated with Steve Madden and her lace up heels are sooo sexy and comfy! We are gearing up and getting ready for NYFW for next week! MYNY DKNY Perfume

Bright lights, Big city...Empire State of Mind! We love DKNY's MYNY new perfume. We are obsessed with New York and lived there for 10 years. Once you hit a ten year mark, you officially become a New Yorker! lol! NY is filled with personality, creativity and excitement. You never know what's going to happen because the city is pumping with excitement and energy. We found our dog Cubby wandering in NY and a complete stranger gave him to us. The owner, who we later found, said her boyfriend bought her Cubby and she had too many men in her life. Dreams do come true because we were looking to adopt that week! It was definitely a New York moment! The fragrance smells like sexy raspberries spiked with accents of Pink Pepper. It's fruity and floral with a bit of spice. Check it out here.
