The Look: Coney Island + Black Magic

Fun Fact: We just love Coney Island soooo much! We used to hang out there so much in the summertime we thought it would be a blast to go there in December! And boy did we have fun! We also shot our Spring 2008 look book there and it's a real special place for us! It's still sooo gorgeous in the winter time but the rides are closed and the beaches are empty. But the sunsets are killer! Pin It Now!

LOVE this! Coney Island holds a very special place in my heart. The legendary Gregory & Paul's (now Paul's Daughter) on the boardwalk opposite the Cyclone is my uncle's/cousin's place. We've all been devastated that leases for so many long-time vendors weren't renewed for 2011, in favor of updating the area. It's a travesty. My uncle's business has been running since the 60s, I think.

I had my first clams on the halfshell there at age 2. Coney Island is a wild, whimsical place. I know exactly why you love it!

Ummmm, could this be reminiscent of a little movie I like to call, "Big?" If so, genius. If not, still love.
