Kelly Wearstler Spring 2013!

We had the best time hanging out with our AWESOME friend Kelly and checking out her incredible Spring 2013 collection at her New York showroom! It's so obsessive! We love how she experimented with different knitwear techniques, and laser cut fabric inserts. It's creative, free and artsy mixed with a whole lot of chic-ness. We fell hard for the leather zip motorcycle dress, beaded appliquéd shoulders, bermuda shorts, and her black and white splatter paint head to toe looks. Fun Fact: It has been sooo crazy trying to get to the Mall and find a parking spot! A whole lotta trolling! Haha! But even though everybody is shopping like crazy this holiday season, it's really fabulous to give back when thinking about prezzies. This red puffer jacket made by Kenneth Cole is so awesome because 100% of the net profits from the sale of this jacket goes towards AWEARNESS, which is Kenneth Cole's Foundation. It promotes and inspires social change like disaster relief, and HIV/Aids awareness. It retails for $99.50. Fun Fact: I had this crazy experience while buying this hat. As I was paying, $20 for this hat (which seemed like a really good deal) this random guy jumped in and said he would pay double for it. Thankfully, the vendor looked at him like he was crazy and said "it would look better on me, than him!" haha It was my lucky day! Pin It Now!

The Look: Milk Maid+ Motorcycle

Fun Fact: I loving doing the milkmaid/halo braid on my hair during the Holiday season. For some reason, I always tend to do this instead of throwing it up in a top knot when it gets dirty. So many people ask me the easiest way to do it. You start by flipping your head to one side and start french brading at the lowest part of your scalp all the way around until you braid it down one side of your head. Then bobby pin the braid around the bottom of your head and tuck the tail of the braid to hide it with the hair elastic. It's not that easy to do on yourself but it get's easier with practice. The Look: Hip Hop + Painter

Fun Fact: We are really into the Men's pieces from the Maison Martin Margiela with H&M collection because they are so badass and remind us of our fav' hip hop songs from the 90's. This white leather jacket is all quilted on the inside and sooo warm! And these Men's boots started at a Women's size 9 and I love how they are hand painted, deconstructed painter boots! Pin It Now!
