Fun Fact: It's officially sweater weather! Our friend, South made this fabulous cowboy GoGo sweater that is handmade in Canada and I can't get over how cozy and soft it is! I'm obsessed with the Wild Wild West and how it goes perfectly with my Bliss and Mischief hand embroidered western jeans, made by our friend Hillary in LA! I love how inspiring my friends are and they are all about crafting, embroidery and knitting. I was just at the new Jimmy Choo store launch party in Toronto. It was a crazy fun opening! They made this BLAH BLAH bag as part of their destination series handbags. This one was created in honour of LA. Pin It Now!

Our Visit to the Teotihuacan Pyramids in Mexico

We visited Mexico to do a Grazia Mexico photoshoot, do a conference at a Fashion University, visit Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's home and to see THESE incredible pyramids!!! The Teotihuacan pyramids were built in 1 A.D as a place of prayer, not burial, like the ones in Egypt. There are two major pyramids, that you can climb up. The Pyramid of the Sun has over 248 gigantic steps to the top and the Pyramid of the Moon has only 48 steps which is still colossal. So, in the heat and jet lag, we decided we better go up the Pyramid of the Moon because we could actually make it to the top. And boy, was it magical! The view, the warm breeze, the layout of the Pyramids all together is sooo beautiful and breathtaking. The huge hills in the background (our tour guide told us) are more pyramids waiting to be excavated. We really felt the spirituality of the pyramids and enjoyed the incredible view from the top!

October Issue for Flare Magazine

Don't be scared! We got zombified! We are decked head to toe in Vivienne Westwood, right off the runway! It's Halloween time and we are Marie Antoinette Zombies in our column for the October Issue of FLARE. We collaborated with horror make up extraordinaire, Kat Crisp who did our makeup while hair guru, Ivy Lam used lots of cornstarch and water to sculpt our hair to make it white. Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's Home!

We are in Mexico City, hanging with the Grazia Mexico team! They are so awesome! We did a conference this morning at Ibero University, all about our blogging experience and chatted to the students about our blogging secrets. It was such a blast:) Later in afternoon we headed to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's home. the It was such a magical and inspiring visit! When we stepped in to Frida and Diego's blue painted loft, you could feel their creative energy surging through it. Their art was in a separate building, and it was the kind of art you only dream about seeing in person. The dinning room was filled with paper mache creatures and hand painted plates. Diego's bedroom was right off their dinning room and had his iconic denim painted overalls hanging. Their kitchen had both of their names, along with doves on the wall.. made out of tiny teacups. Frida had a day bedroom and a night bedroom, because she was in a wheel chair from her Polio and her car accident. Her bedroom had a big cabinet filled to the max of all of her favorite things, like skulls and hand made miniatures. The coolest was her studio! You could see all of her paints just sitting there in a box. It was such a special exhibit and what made it even cooler, was that Vogue curated an exhibit right next to her house of her clothing. Her headdress, nail polish, corsets and her eccentric outfits were all there! It was a truly breathtaking house!
